Community groups in Orkney are being invited to attend a LEADER drop-in session in Sanday.
The discussion will provide an opportunity for interested parties to discuss project ideas and gain advice from the council's LEADER team.
The programme is aimed at small-scale, community-driven projects that span both the local economy and Orkney communities.
Projects which are eligible to apply for funding can range from developing sustainable energy schemes to supporting the natural environment.
Amy Esslemont, the Council's Development Officer for LEADER, said: "The island of Sanday has already seen how beneficial LEADER funding can be through the development of the Heritage Centre in Lady Village.
"We want to offer Sanday residents a clear understanding of what LEADER is and this drop-in session will be a perfect opportunity for this."
Full applications to the programme will open in Spring 2016.
The drop-in exhibition will take place at Heilsa Fjord between 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Tuesday, 09 February.
