Tulloch Homes has announced plans to expand into the Central Belt in Scotland.
It is understood Northern Scotland's largest house builder plans to launch two developments at East Kilbride and Glenrothes.
The move signals a return to the Central Belt area for the first time in eight years.
In addition, a show apartment will open at Tulloch Homes' first ever development in The Courtyard, Aberdeen in February.
In addition, the house builder will launch a second development, called Westfield, at the former Bridge of Don primary school site.
Overall, the four developments represent an investment in excess of £80 million.
Chief Executive George Fraser said: "It is our intention to look at the opportunity of moving back to the Central Belt on out sites at East Kilbride and Glenrothes.
"East Kilbride was very successful for us pre-recession and we still have land there so the hope is to begin work on a development in the second quarter of 2016.
"These projects are statements of intent and we’ll look at building wherever the right opportunity arises. The Central Belt will remain in our forward strategy."
