McGregor Construction has completed repair work to a historic bridge in the Highlands.
The company was awarded a £175,000 contract to replace the original parapets on the Evanton arch road bridge.
Over the years, the sandstone masonry parapets had deteriorated due to years of water spray from the road along with freezing and thawing.
The new cast stone parapets were designed by the council.
The original structure was built around 1780 by Civil Engineer John Smeaton.
Councillor Mike Finlayson said: "I must congratulate the contractors and council engineers for doing a terrific job.
"I am sure everyone will feel the temporary inconvenience of the traffic lights has been worth it as the repairs to the bridge will mean it can be in use for many years to come."
