Work is continuing on a new housing development in Dundee.
The homes are the first properties in the city to be constructed under the National Housing Trust (NHT) initiative.
Developed by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Futures Trust, the NHT scheme allows developers and local authorities to jointly fund the purchase of newly-built homes and then make them available for rent at below market rates.
The development, at Sandy Loan in Broughty Ferry, consists of 15 two-bedroom flats and will be available at affordable rent for those on low to modest incomes.
The homes will be let by Northern Housing, part of the Hillcrest Group.
Visiting the site, Housing Minister Margaret Burgess said: "It is a pleasure to be here today at Dundee's first NHT development at Sandy Loan. These 15 homes for mid-market rent will be a welcome addition to the supply of affordable housing in Dundee.
"Developments such as this not only provide a boost for our construction sector and wider economy, but also offer people and families the chance to rent a new home at affordable rates.
"I have no doubt that residents will enjoy living in these high quality, affordable homes with much needed warmth provided by renewable heating."
Derek Reid, Housing Manager Northern Housing Company, added: "Sandy Loan has been an exciting development for all partners involved to work on. Bringing affordable housing to the Broughty Ferry area has been a popular initiative which has generated some of the highest interest in one of our housing developments to date."
