An upgrade project has been carried out at sheltered housing in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire.
The work was part of a multi-million pound investment programme by the Council.
Those to benefit from the scheme included Second Avenue Sheltered Housing. The building received a new roof and new roughcasting, as well as render to ensure the property is wind and watertight for the next 25 years. It will also make the building more energy efficient. Work was also undertaken to the interior of the 21-flat complex, including the addition of new PVC doors and redecoration work to communal areas.
Councillor David McBride, Convener of Housing, said: "We have made housing one of our biggest priorities and are investing £85million in upgrading existing homes and building new houses for the people of West Dunbartonshire. This is just one of a series of planned projects throughout this year."
Councillor Lawrence O'Neill, Vice-Convener of Housing, added: "This work has provided warmer, more energy efficient homes and improved the surroundings for tenants of Second Avenue."
