Miller Homes has brought forward its plans to build a housing development at Kinglass Farm, Bo'ness.
According to Scottish Housing News, the site proposed for the development is located south of the built-up edge of Bo'ness and has been identified for residential use with the proposed Falkirk Council Local Development Plan.
Occupying around eight hectares, some 170 homes would constructed, consisting of two- to five-bed detached, semi-detached and terraced properties. 15% of the development would be affordable housing.
Associated infrastructure and landscaping would also be included in the project works.
David Morgan, Land Director at Miller Homes, is quoted as saying: "We are delighted to be bringing forward these exciting proposals which will serve to address a clear need for housing in the area.
"The development at Kinglass Farm will be well-integrated into the local area and the excellent existing amenities and transport links.
"We would encourage those with an interest to come along to the event we are holding as part of our community engagement process, meet the team and provide us with their feedback."
The proposals will be on display at Bo'ness Recreation Centre, Gauze Road, on Monday 23 June 2014 from 12 noon to 8pm. Following the event, it is expected that a planning application will be lodged during the Autumn.
