Atlas Copco To Attend Hillhead Show

Atlas Copco has said it will exhibit its range of construction and quarrying equipment at this year's Hillhead Show.

The biennial exhibition will take place at a Derbyshire quarry from 24 to 26 June 2014, and visitors will be able to company's stand – Stand t1 – will be able to get to grips with everything from handheld pneumatic tools to the large SD2500WS paver.

One of the items being shown at the show is the FlexiROC D55 drill rig. This is just as suited to quarry blast hole drilling as for mining operations, and offers productivity and flexibility beyond conventional quarry drill rigs. It can also be equipped with a range of Atlas Copco DTH hammers, well known for their high performance in terms of speed, reliability and longevity.

Atlas Copco's portfolio of hydraulic attachments will also be on display; from the SB102 breaker to the world's largest volume-produced hydraulic breaker, the 10t HB10000, which is suitable for carriers up to 140t. The full range of silent demolition attachments including grapples, pulverisers and combi-cutters will also be on show.

Elsewhere, from the road construction portfolio, the flagship Dynapac SD2500WS wheeled paver will be present, as will two asphalt rollers and the 13t CA3500 soil roller plus a range of compressors and generators. There will be a range of handheld pneumatic tools, hydraulic and petrol, and compaction equipment including, rammers and plates will be shown.
