Industry body Homes for Scotland has said it has received a record level of entries for its annual Awards scheme.
A total of 91 submissions have been received across nine categories.
The awards seek to promote best practice and raise standards across the new build sector, as well as demonstrate the industry's commitment to moving forward by addressing barriers to recovery and highlight its positive approach to working with a wide range of partners to deliver the thousands of homes needed in Scotland.
The submissions will now be assessed by an independent judging panel, chaired by Sir Muir Russell, Chairman of National House Building Council (NHBC) Scottish Committee.
He said: "A number of encouraging market signals have lifted confidence throughout the home building sector since the beginning of the year and the volume of submissions to the Homes for Scotland Awards is a further indication of this increasing optimism."
Winners will be announced at the Homes for Scotland Annual Lunch, sponsored by Burness Paull, in Edinburgh on Friday 16 May.
