Almost £8m of upgrade works to council homes in Dundee could be given the go ahead next week.
The proposals, which include new kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems for properties within the area, would see the houses move closer to meeting Scottish Housing Quality Standard.
If approved, houses in the Douglas, Brackens, Craigie, Menzieshill, Midmill, Whitfield, Broughty Ferry, Kirkton and Hilltown areas could benefit.
In a statement, John Alexander, Convener of Dundee City Council's Housing Committee said: "We have now brought more than 81% of our housing stock up to the required standard ahead of the 2015 deadline.
"This means that more council house tenants in Dundee have homes that are warm, fuel efficient and meet 21st century standards, with more to come when this £7.9m programme of works goes ahead.
"The project also keeps local people in jobs with the work going to Dundee City Council's environment department construction service and our long-term partners at mcGill Electrical."
