Stirling Council has added a further four properties to its housing stock.
The four two-bedroom bungalows, located in Station Road, Bannockburn, have been constructed to a high standard of thermal efficiency. They are also wheelchair accessible throughout.
The scheme has been jointly funded by the local authority and the Scottish Government, and is being delivered through a mixture of private contractors and the Housing Services own Technical Service. Further sites being developed are at Birch Road in Killearn and at Adamson Place in Cornton.
Attending an unveiling ceremony of the homes earlier this week, Housing Portfolio Holder, Councillor Violet Weir, said: "This is a great achievement for the Council, and indeed for local residents.
"This development will provide homes to our elderly residents and is part of our ongoing effort to build new homes and replenish our housing stock for residents across the Stirling area.
"The four bungalows are the latest phase of Stirling Council's New Build programme, which is supported by the Scottish Government. The programme is valued at £15m over the next two years and will deliver around 170 new homes."
