It is not too late to help shape the future of housing in Clackmannanshire.
The consultation runs until July 1 and the council would like to hear from anyone with an interest in influencing the housing strategy of Scotland’s smallest council, an area including Tillicoultry, Dollar and Coalsnaughton as well as county town Clackmannan.
A statement on the council website said the strategy will aim to ensure "good quality, affordable" housing in "safe and pleasant neighbourhoods" over the next five years of development.
The draft strategy was formed after research with key partners, which found that while more older people need suitable accommodation and young people want to get on the housing ladder, there are fewer new homes being built and fewer social homes available to rent.
The strategy also found that financial worries are taking their toll on Clackmannanshire people’s housing prospects, as reforms to the national welfare system make it difficult for low-income people to rent, and the soaring cost of energy affects more and more people.
