A major resurfacing project is set to get underway next week in Hamilton as part of the council's recently announced £126m investment in its roads network.
The £290,000 roadworks on Almada Street and Douglas Street will be carried out in four phases over two weeks.
Work is set to start on Monday August 4 and be completed prior to the end of the school summer holidays on August 18.
Significant efforts are being made to ensure the essential works can be carried out with the minimum of disruption to road users with closures only taking place over the weekends.
