Deeside Timberframe has been named a finalist across three categories spanning the 2026 Offsite Awards and the 2026 Structural Timber Awards, underlining both its project delivery and the manufacturing strategy that supports it.
At the Offsite Awards, the company is shortlisted for the Digital Innovation Award for its deployment of Procore to enable a more connected and consistent approach to project delivery. It is also in contention for Residential Project of the Year for Archerview, Kilwinning — an 85-home development delivered by Keepmoat Homes — for which Deeside Timberframe supplied and erected the timber frame package.
At the Structural Timber Awards, Deeside Timberframe is a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year, recognising a major phase of investment in automation, in-house production capability, digital systems, lean manufacturing and lower-carbon operations.
Derek Wann, UK Business Development Director at Deeside Timberframe, said: "Being shortlisted across both the Offsite Awards and Structural Timber Awards is a proud moment for the business, but it also says something important about where Deeside Timberframe is heading. We are being recognised not only for the projects we deliver, but for the manufacturing capability, digital systems and operational investment that sit behind that delivery."
Over the past year, the firm has expanded its Throsk manufacturing facility with a 5,500 sq ft extension, a new semi-robotic wall panel production line, a fully automated Hundegger Turbo-Drive Saw, and new in-house truss and open web joist manufacturing capability.
The business has also advanced its use of Procore, using digital project data and site feedback to strengthen quality, reporting, accountability and collaboration across teams.
This blend of delivery performance, factory investment and digital integration aligns with Deeside Timberframe's wider strategy: to support housebuilders, contractors and housing providers with greater programme certainty, tighter quality control and scalable timber frame delivery across Scotland and England.
Derek added: "For our clients, timber frame is not just about the structural system. It is about certainty: certainty of programme, quality, coordination, performance and delivery. That is why our investment in manufacturing, automation, digital systems and in-house capability matters. It allows us to give clients greater confidence while supporting the delivery of high-quality, energy-efficient homes at scale."
The shortlists follow a period of sustained growth and investment for Deeside Timberframe, amid rising demand for faster, more sustainable and more predictable approaches to housing delivery. From factory upgrades to award-recognised residential projects, the business is helping to shape the next generation of structural timber manufacturing and offsite housing delivery.
