JR Scaffold has been awarded Gold status by the Ministry of Defence's Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), placing the business among a select group of employers recognised for exemplary support of the Armed Forces community.
Gold is the scheme's highest tier and is reserved for organisations that show sustained, outstanding commitment to serving personnel, Reservists, veterans, service leavers, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and military families.
The accolade builds on JR Scaffold's earlier ERS Bronze and Silver awards and reinforces its standing as a Forces-friendly employer.
It also reflects the company's support for the Armed Forces Covenant and its dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace for those who serve, have served, or have family connections to the military.
John Horne, Managing Director of JR Scaffold, said: "We are immensely proud to have achieved Gold Award status through the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. This is a fantastic achievement for everyone across The JR Group and one that is particularly important to us as a business.
"Our journey through the ERS awards, from Bronze to Silver and now Gold, reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. We recognise the valuable skills, experience and dedication that members of the Armed Forces community bring to the workplace. Whether that is supporting veterans as they transition into civilian employment, creating opportunities for those leaving the services, or accommodating colleagues who continue to serve as Reservists, we are dedicated to doing what we can to provide meaningful opportunities, and the flexibility people need."
Securing Gold further strengthens The JR Group's reputation as a responsible and forward-thinking employer within the construction and scaffolding sector, underlining its focus on workforce development and community values.
The recognition acknowledges JR Scaffold's continuing efforts to make a positive difference to the lives and careers of members of the Armed Forces community.
