Scottish Construction Talent Celebrated At CIOB Awards

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) hosted its annual awards ceremony in Glasgow last week, recognising the outstanding achievements of construction professionals from across Scotland.

Hundreds of industry experts gathered at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel to celebrate the talented individuals who have made significant contributions to the sector.

Stuart Burgess of Tilbury Douglas was honoured with the prestigious Project Manager of the Year award, while Ianna Roche of Balfour Beatty was named Graduate of the Year.

Other winners included Joanne Fuller-Wilson for Site Manager of the Year, Lewis Quinn for Trailblazer of the Year, Michael Braiden for Project Professional of the Year, and Ron Sutherland for the Open Award.

The CIOB Awards highlight the exceptional skills and dedication of the Scottish construction workforce.

Congratulating all the winners, Caroline Gumble, CEO at CIOB, said: "I am delighted to offer my congratulations to all the winners at the CIOB Scotland Awards. The CIOB Awards in Scotland is an annual event hosted by CIOB to recognise the incredible work carried out by construction professionals in Scotland. It is a fully inclusive celebration welcoming members and non-members of CIOB.

The awards ceremony was overseen by representatives from Gold sponsors Competence Matters and Contract Scotland as well as from Silver sponsors Training LMS, MPMH, Veitchi Group. McConnell, Aitkin Realis, Zeus Industrial Services and Halliday Construction Contracts.
