Angus Council has announced a programme of road repair works on the B9128 south of Craichie will get underway from Monday 8 January.
The works will be carried out in two phases, with Phase 1 consisting of carriageway repairs and drainage works and is expected to take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting. A road closure will be in place during this work between 8am and 3.30pm.
The signed diversion route will be as follows:

Vehicle access to properties will be limited during the road closure. Should you need access or egress from the area, please speak to a member of the workforce who will assist.
Bin collections are not affected, and bins should be put out as normal.
Phase 2 of the works will focus on embankment repairs and be carried out under temporary traffic signals after the completion of the phase 1 work. Please be aware, the contractor may be required to leave site for a short period between phases.
Notices will be posted at bus stops to inform of any changes and alternative stops concerning public transport affected by the work.
Please contact us using the details below if you, or anyone you know who lives or works in the affected area has any special needs, particularly with regard to access or mobility and we will make necessary arrangements.
