Scotland's leading building and construction business, the JR Group, has announced a donation to and new partnership with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, (the Lighthouse Club); the only charity that provides dedicated emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.
By working with the Lighthouse Club, the Paisley based firm are providing their 200 strong workforce with access to a wide range of services such as the charity's 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, which provides a range of free and confidential wellbeing support services for employees to use if required.
Staff members at The JR Group are also being encouraged to download the charity's Construction Industry Helpline App, which offers expert guidance on a variety of wellbeing issues.
The team will also be taking part in a number of construction focused training programmes offered by the charity's Wellbeing Academy, including their self paced soft skills training through to the two-day Mental Health First Aider course, which helps team members to support their colleagues who need additional mental health support whilst at work.
