The scheme will see Bishopton Road and part of the A816 in Lochgilphead resurfaced on either side of the junction. Drainage works on the A816 are also part of the scheme.
The project forms part of the council's £3 million Capital Road Reconstruction Programme and work is scheduled to start on 28 August. Completion is set for 05 September and diversions will be in place.

The council said: "In order to carry out the works safely and minimise disruption to the public, the junction onto the A816 from Bishopton will be closed on 28 August and 31 August. This may alter due to weather or other delays and residents are asked to follow signs and traffic management on the roads."
