Galliford Try For £31.2m High School

Galliford Try has confirmed financial close on a £31.2m contract to deliver the new Greenfaulds High School.

The Hub South West Scotland Ltd contract, will see the facility, located in North Lanarkshire, constructed for the local authority under its Schools and Centres 21 scheme.

The construction group has said its Morrison Construction business will be responsible for the build, and provide a like-for-like replacement for the existing Cumbernauld school. Galliford Try added that it will invest £700,000 in funding for the project.


Greg Fitzgerald, Executive Chairman, Galliford Try, said: "The successful financial close of Greenfaulds High School follows closely behind the announcement by North Lanarkshire Council to award Morrison Construction a place on their £100 million framework.

"We look forward to working with the Council to create buildings that will serve the whole community, as well as significantly enhancing the facilities for education in the region."
