Archid is a Scottish-based multi-disciplinary architecture and design service which offers its clients a fresh, dynamic approach to architecture – an environmentally aware, ‘Passive house’ certified, practice which believes architecture has an important role in the energy and climate challenges of the planet.

Houses
New build houses are a great opportunity. Whether it be a one-off dream home or a modest family residence, careful design and consideration of construction can bring joy into your every day life and save you pounds. Passive house (‘Passivhaus’) now a speciality!

Extensions & Alterations
We have completed a wide range of extensions and alterations from simple garden rooms to complex conversions, working with modern houses and listed buildings. We avoid a 'house style' looking at each project as it comes, large or small, listening carefully to clients' requirements. We provide very good value, both in terms of our fees and contractor prices through good design and sensible specification.

Housing Development
We enjoy working with developers and the opportunity housing development brings, whether it be conversion or new build, flats or individual houses. We bring value to housing in terms of design quality, efficiency in construction and low energy use. We are also certified Passive House designers and would welcome enquiries both as designers and consultants to others trying to achieve the standard.

Restaurants
We have had extensive experience with restaurants and bars, both as Archid and in previous employment. We have become expert in commercial kitchen design and use interior design expertise from others as required to achieve the right ambience.

Commercial & Leisure
Archid has extensive experience within the licensed leisure sector plus experience in commercial offices, shops and warehouse shopping developments.
