Arcman Limited specialise in design, fabrication and installation of all types of steelwork, from the strength and security of structural steel, the delicate refinement and artistry of architectural metalwork to the precision and shine of stainless steel.

Unlike some of our competitors, we offer a full in-house service covering design, manufacture, painting and installation from our large workshop facility just outside Perth. With a highly skilled, flexible team of metal workers operating from our 30,000 square foot facility, we excel in meeting timescales and budgets without compromising on quality.

Our workshop procedures have been rated to ISO1090 execution class 2, which allows us to CE mark all our manufactured items. We have an in-house capability to provide any procedure or testing requirements that clients may have. We offer all welding process working to our own or the client’s approved welding procedures on MMA, MAG, MAG & TIG or we can run procedure tests on either pipe or plate with our in-house CSWIP approved Responsible Welding Coordinator. All in house tests, for both procedures and welder tests, are carried out to American or European standards as required and are carried out in conjunction with an independent third party notifiable body, with mechanical testing carried out in UKAS approved laboratories.

Structural Fabrication
Arcman is highly experienced in working with structural steel projects, involving, design, fabrication and site erection. Recent projects include the new Forth Crossing, several new Marston’s Inns’ with rooms and Shoring up the Coop Store in Pitlochry.

Our workshops are fully equipped with all necessary machinery and equipment to fabricate large or small scale structures in-house. We can work with any grade of steel from mild steel to high strength steel required for some structures and for the oil and gas industry, where strength and resistance to heat and stresses are of vital importance. Whatever your project specifies, we can supply and manufacture structural steel to meet all of your requirements.

Our staff excel under pressure and in difficult circumstances, where both time and budget are limited. The team experience various challenges each and every day but always serve our clients to the best of their abilities.


Welding Services
Here at Arcman we have a range of welding services to cover almost every welding process and procedure, managed and controlled by our in-house Responsible Welding Coordinator.

We have procedures for GTAW, OFW, MIG, MAG, TIG, FCAW, GMAW, and MMA. If our procedures do not fully cover your requirements, we can use your welding procedures or alternatively, our RWC can write specific procedures, to meet your needs.

In addition to our in-house welding capabilities we offer fully mobile welding services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across all sectors with our fully equipped mobile service vans. We can provide you with the appropriately coded welders/fabricators to carry out any welding or fabrication projects you may have, either at our facility in Perth or on site.


Repair & Maintenance
We offer emergency and reactive repair and maintenance cover 24 hours a day for any steel related problems or issues that may arise.

Project Management
Arcman will take ownership of your steel project and will run with it from inception to completion. Organising, design, steel supply, fabrication, testing & installation.

Manpower & Recruitment
We recruit UK and foreign staff for all black trades (coded welders, pipefitters, platers etc) for fixed length contracts and also permanent positions. We are able to supply complete teams of workers, either assembled from new or from teams currently working together. We can also draw on a large database of highly trained and qualified black trade staff to be able to supply you with suitable staff at short notice.
