Gennaro Ltd are specialists in the manufacture, supply, and installation of aluminium fire rated glazing systems. We operate from our base near Glasgow and carry out work throughout the United Kingdom. We offer a quick turnaround for all glazing systems, typically 4 weeks from confirmation of specification, ironmongery, and sizes.

Products typically include fire rated fixed light windows, screens, single & double doors. These are manufactured to achieve fire resistance classes EI30 (30 Minutes Integrity & Insulation), EI60 (60 Minutes Integrity & Insulation), EI90 (90 Minutes Integrity & Insulation), & EI120 (2 Hours Integrity & Insulation) in line with PN-B-02851-1:1997.

Manufacture is carried out by highly trained fabricators using the most up to date double mitre saws, CNC machining centres, and crimpers. This ensures that our high standards of accuracy and quality are met everytime.

Fire Rated Window Systems
Fixed Light Windows / Screens are available in all standard RAL colours upto a maximum width of 6 Metres by 4 Metres High. Maximum size of glass / infill panels is 1.5 x 2.7 Metres.

Aluminium Fire Rated Doors
Doors are available in all standard RAL colours upto a maximum width of 1.4m and height of 2.3m for single doors and upto a maximum width of 2.4m for double door aplication. Maximum door size limitations are also subject to a Maximum Weight which is dependant on glass specification. Doors can be incorporated into Windows/Screens, maximum sizes are the same as Windows/Screens.

Fire Rated Curtain Walling
The construction of the system is based on the load-bearing grid structure composed of vertical members (mullions) and horizontal members (transoms) of box section which are 50mm wide. The depth of mullions vary's between 85 - 185mm and the depth of transoms vary's between 65 - 145mm. Mullions and Transoms selected are dependant on windloading and structural analysis, which has to be carried out for each project.

The appearance of the system does not differ from regular curtain walling and is capeable of straight & angular connections. The system is also suitable for facetting up to +/- 7.5 degrees.

Filling thicknesses range between 15 - 49mm and is suitable to accept glass or a range of non-transparent fillings.

2 Hour / 120 min Fire Rated Screens
Design depth of profiles is 118 mm. The system is based on five-chamber aluminum profiles with a 34 mm wide thermal spacers. The internal chambers of the profiles and insulating spaces between the profiles include fire insulation elements. On the external surfaces, additional foam tapes are mounted, which expand under high temperatures.

The glazing range for the partition walls covers an infill thickness of 48-84 mm. Depending on the function of the building, single fire-resistant panes or glazing units with fire-resistant glass can be used. External or Internal Screen with fireproofing classification of EI120. Fixed Light Windows / Screens are available in all standard RAL colours upto a maximum width of 6 Metres by 3.75 Metres High. Maximum size of glass / infill panels is 1.46 x 2.59 Metres. Automatic Sliding Fire Rated Doors
The automatic sliding fire rated door system is used for internal or external fire barriers with automatic sliding single- or double leaf doors in the class EI15 or EI30.

The applied motor allows the efficient and failure-free operation of doors with a leaf weight of up to 200 kg. The maximum size of the structure in a door opening:

• height of 1-leaf and 2-leaf doors: up to 2450 mm.
• width of 1-leaf doors: up to 1100 mm.
• width of 2-leaf doors: up to 2125 mm.

Fire Rated FD30 Residential Doors
The FD30 Fire door has been developed and independently tested to exacting standards in accordance with the global fire resistance assessment undertaken by Chiltern dynamics in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987

All our doorsets feature a 44mm GRP faced fire resisting door leaf supplied pre hung in a PVC-U outerframe that incorporates a doorframe design uniquely constructed so as not to detract from the aesthetics but still conforming to the stringent performance requirements of an FD30 firedoor. The doorset is available in a variety of door colours and styles together with several glazing options. Furthermore, fanlights are available as are various hardware options, these having been successfully incorporated in the tests undertaken.
