Work on the Brechin Flood Prevention Scheme is continuing, with work progressing from the Inch, along River Street and into the East Mill industrial estate.

The most recent progress has been made on the new flood defence in River Street, where foundations are complete and the wall will soon be visible.
Construction works by Morrison Construction remain on course for completion by March 2016.
Councillor Jeanette Gaul said: "Work on the multi-million pound flood prevention project is continuing apace and we are very grateful for the co-operation and forbearance of local residents while this important work is carried out."
