Bell Appoints New Rep For Scotland

Bell Equipment UK has appointed Sandy Fairweather as its new sales account manager in Scotland.

The move follows a period of sustained growth for Bell in the region, despite the recent economic downturn.

Increased consumer interest in Bell ADTs north of the border was spurred by the opening of a dedicated Bell parts depot in Falkirk, in 2007. That interest has now widened with the recent introduction of Bell wheeled loaders to the market.

Josh Foster, sales manager for Bell Equipment UK, said: “Bell continues to move forward, despite the many challenges that have faced us and the rest of the industry over the past 18 months.

“Scotland has always been a very important territory for us and we are committed to continuing to develop our business in this region.

“This appointment will give the territory the additional business development focus it deserves, following the expansion of our service capacity in the region in anticipation of the launch of our Bell Assure program.”

Fairweather was previously employed by a leading industrial services business in Scotland.

He said: “I’ve been aware of Bell for a long time, having dealt with many of the same customers, and I’ve always been impressed with what I’ve seen. I’m delighted that Bell’s given me this exciting opportunity.”
