Crisis talks are to be held in a bid to bring an end to the Edinburgh tram project deadlock.
With relations between contractors Bilfinger Berger and Transport Initiatives Edinburgh (Tie), which is running the tram project, reportedly reaching rock bottom, concerns are growing over the final cost of the project.
The scheme is currently running two years behind schedule and work has been brought to a standstill on sections of the route.
Bilfinger Berger are not permitted contractually to comment on the allegations.
