The development at Kirkton Park Tennis Courts in Bathgate was arranged through the council's Sports Development and Facilities Team. The majority of funding was supplied by sportscotland, Tennis Scotland and the Land Trust.
The scheme involved replacing the old blaise surface courts with a new all-season tarmac surface, including new floodlighting and fencing.

Council Leader John McGinty said: "I'm delighted to declare the excellent new tennis courts at Kirkton Park Tennis Courts officially open.
"They will help provide more opportunities for local people of all ages to take part in tennis in throughout the year, encouraging them to keep healthy in a fun way.
"This has been a real partnership project between the council, Kirkton Park Tennis Club, sportscotland, Tennis Scotland and the Land Trust, so I would like to thank everyone who helped deliver this excellent resource for the Bathgate community."
