WHAT TYPE OF LIFTING EQUIPMENT DO WE SPECIALISE IN?
Marine/Offshore Barge Load Outs – Various heavy-duty winches and power packs were supplied by Atlas during the load out of a semi-submersible rig under construction in Spain. Numerous similar projects have been undertaken throughout the UK and Europe.
Shipyard/Harbour Services & Equipment – A range of mooring winches, lifting equipment and skilled personnel are open to assist in quayside and ship-to-shore movements of loads and vessels – worldwide facilities are available.
Offshore/onshore Drilling Installations – Atlas Winch & Hoist Services supply winches, small hand winches and mounted winches specifically designed to meet the requirements of offshore as well as onshore oil and gas lifting applications.
Bridge Launching – Atlas Winch & Hoist Services designed, supplied and operated the powered winch machine system used to launch this 3,000-tonne bridge section into place in Crewe.
Utility Equipment – At Atlas, we can supply winches for all utility sectors including telecoms, power, water and gas. We have become specialists in this field and have the largest and most comprehensive hire fleet of its kind in the UK. Our cable-pulling winches have capacities of up to 100 tonnes. Bond lengths are available up to 2,000 metres, and for some special applications, bond lengths in excess of 2,000 metres have been successfully used. Servicing, repair and testing are also available across the range.
