Satelliet-Browns, a leading leisure industry furnishing specialist, has reorganised its sales force to help customers beat the recession.

Peter Carter, formerly Regional Sales Manager South, has been appointed National Sales Manager, while his opposite number in Scotland, Joseph Doyle, has been appointed Key Account and Business Development Manager.

Satelliet-Browns Managing Director Harvey Ockrim said: "In tough times like these our customers become more focussed than ever on ways of adding value to their businesses.


"Both Peter and Joseph have vast experience of identifying the best solutions for customers and their new roles give us a more focussed approach to sales."

Peter Carter, who joined the firm 9 years ago as a sales rep will now be in charge of the company’s 10 strong sales force across the UK including Angela Murray, Territory Manager in Northern Ireland, which is an emerging market for Satelliet-Browns.

Peter said: "Despite the economic downturn we have a strong order book and lots of potential orders in the pipeline, thanks to our policy of delivering real added value.

"The new showroom in our Ash Vale Hub is proving highly popular with customers who like to try before they buy, especially since we can now show lighting products thanks to our partnerships with Kartell and Driade."
