Children from St Fergus RC Primary School and members of the Ardler Bowling Club in Dundee have been celebrating after receiving grants to support their activities from Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association.
Sanctuary Scotland, a member of Sanctuary Group, provided £200 worth of funding to St Fergus Primary School towards new playground equipment for the children, including balls, skipping ropes and hoola hoops.
The Association also handed a grant to the local Ardler Bowling Club, sponsoring their annual Open Triples Competition, which takes place in September, to the tune of £250.
Both the school and bowling club received their cheques from Sanctuary on Tuesday, 30th June.
Ann Forbes, Sanctuary Scotland housing manager, said: "We are committed to creating a sense of community through supporting local groups and events across Ardler, so we are delighted to provide funding for these two worthwhile causes."
