A new Inverness base for the Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) officially opened on Wednesday.
The new location on Ardross Terrace is an expansion for the CHAS at Home team which provides a free home care service to families who have children with a life-limiting condition.
CHAS at Home currently supports 39 families across Scotland, 13 of which are from Inverness and the surrounding area.
Previously based in a single room at the Highland Hospice, the new five-room premises at 9 Ardross Terrace, Inverness, includes an office space, storage areas and a formal meeting room.
Babs Henderson, Director of CHAS at Home said: "We are delighted to be expanding the CHAS at Home service so that we can reach out to more families each year. We are able to provide tailor-made care, complimenting other care services the families receive, including emotional and bereavement support, to families in their own homes, when they need us most."
Over the next financial year it will cost £328,000 to run the CHAS at Home service.
