There's a brand new name on the High Street with a mission to help you find your happy place.
Happy Lets is the new name of the burgeoning residential letting and property management service of husband and wife team Bobby and Preet Sandhu.
Preet Sandhu, 26, said: "Bobby and I were determined that our company would provide a fresh alternative to the status quo and communicate a positive message in these challenging economic times. We desperately wanted a brand name that we could identify with and feel passionate about - and we found it in Happy Lets.
"We are new, fresh, energetic and passionate. We care equally about our landlords' property and our tenants' needs and our focus is on keeping our clients happy. We want happy tenants and happy landlords - we even want happy bankers."
The name may be new, but the team behind Happy Lets are experienced landlords and property managers, having been in the letting industry for over 10 years. With offices in Glasgow's West End and in Hamilton, they manage a £60m property portfolio of over 800 properties across Glasgow and Lanarkshire. They also work in partnership with landlords and institutions who have stocks of unsold properties and want an income stream in the short to medium term until the property market picks up again.
Previously operating under the Harlequin brand, the firm was founded when property entrepreneur Bobby, 27, married business management graduate Preet, daughter of Glasgow Curry King, Secret Millionaire Charan Gill MBE, and added the management of Charan's various property investments to Bobby's burgeoning enterprise.
Preet said: "As a brand, Harlequin Lets was confusing as many people mistakenly thought it was part of my father's restaurant empire which he sold three years ago. After acquiring the Letting Store in Hamilton, Bobby and I felt that the time was now right to give our company a brand new identity that belongs to us and is easily identifiable by everyone that works for and with us. Happy Lets sends that message loud and clear."
Happy Lets offers a diverse portfolio of properties - from one bedroom studio flats to six bedroom homes but, regardless of the property, at the heart of its day-to-day management services lies one simple philosophy.
