Landlords across Dundee will have a chance to find out more about the practical, legal and financial implications of letting out their property at a free event later this week.
The inaugural Dundee Landlord Fayre at Discovery Point will gather more than 20 specialists from landlord registration to fire safety under one roof for the first time in the city.
Lord Provost John Letford will officially open the informal event, which runs from from 12 noon until 7pm on Thursday (June 11) and has been organised by Dundee Landlord Accreditation (DLA) in co-operation with Dundee City Council.
Existing property owners and prospective landlords will have a chance to talk to accountants, insurance brokers and solicitors, as well as drop into a rolling seminar programme covering current private rental issues such as taxation of UK property and the role of the Private Rented Housing Panel. These seminars will give landlords the opportunity to share experiences and get answers direct from the experts.
