The Central Scotland Branch of the Association of Women in Property has announced its new Chairman.
Anne Mackay Reid, who is Workplace Interior Design Manager, HBOS, will take on the role for one year.
Anne is one of 12 new branch Chairman who collectively cover the Women in Property network, across the United Kingdom, in support of the new National Chairman, Joanna Embling of Cushman & Wakefield.
Taking on the role, Anne is committed to providing practical support and value for members. She said: "The Association has always been about supporting and nurturing our members and each other and this ethos has never been more important than it is now. I am determined that we will offer practical help whenever we can.
"Inevitably there will be some casualties and members who find themselves 'let go' through no fault of their own. We are looking to put together a package of support that will help members retain their confidence and sense of worth, with access to the networking and personal development opportunities we can provide. This includes anything from business introductions, attendance at 'CPD' events, to participating in our mentoring scheme which remains free to members and is a hugely worthwhile experience."
