The decline in the availability of credit has hit the construction and property sectors hard, but attractive long-term opportunities remain according to The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
The Construction Management and Property Conference from CA Business Courses will outline how businesses and investors can plan effectively to take best advantage of uncertain conditions.
The keynote speaker, Jack Perry, Chief Executive of Scottish Enterprise, will outline how Scotland needs to build an infrastructure for growth.
At the sharp end, the Group Managing Director of Stewart Milne Group, Glenn Allison, will give an overview of how a property business manages through a credit crunch. Nick Parsons, Head of Markets Strategy at nabCapital and a member of the SKY News Money Panel will also provide a macro-economic perspective.
In addition, delegates will hear the latest legal, tax and accounting updates relating to the sector, allowing those in the sector and advising the sector to keep right up to date.
The Construction Management and Property Conference is on 4 June 2009 at the Radisson SAS Hotel, 301 Argyle Street, Glasgow.
You can book online at www.icas.org.uk or contact CA Business Courses on 0131 347 0232 or e-mail [email protected].
