Law firm McGrigors and property consultants Ryden are hosting an event for young Aberdeen professionals working in the property sector.
Young Professionals In Property will take place at Aberdeen Art Gallery on Thursday 14 May.
Aberdeen City Council's Development Plan Team Leader, Gale Beattie, is guest speaker and will outline the planning authority's views on the Aberdeen City Local Development Plan, the ongoing review process and the impact of planning reform.
The free event is open to solicitors, surveyors, architects, bankers, planners, land buyers and other allied professionals.
Rhona Docherty, senior solicitor with McGrigors' real estate team, said: "This is an opportunity for a wide range of professionals in the property sector to come together to network and to hear the planning authority's views on the process that will effectively shape development in Aberdeen over the next five to ten years."
Claire Smith, planner with Ryden's consulting team, said: "This is an exciting time for the future of Aberdeen and the surrounding region and this event will provide a useful insight into the aims and objectives of the planning authority at the very beginning of the process."
