Residential Homes Use 'Dragons Den' Room Heating

A 100-room care home in Stirling is the latest development to benefit from a Dragons Dens invention to reduce running costs.

The ThermaSkirt system which featured on the BBC 2 programme is an alternative to under floor or LSTs.

Combing the skirting & heating into a discrete 20mm deep skirting board reduces overall installation costs and allows systems to run at lower temperatures.

Suitable for use with existing boilers as well as renewables such as solar & heat pumps, ThermaSkirt is ideal for both new build and renovation.

More than 3,500 rooms have now been successfully fitted with the revolutionary heating system that has been independently tested and proven to be at least 13% more energy efficient than conventional radiators.
