Crichton footballers have cleaned up after a grant of almost £5,000 from Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership's Community Pride Fund paid for new showers.
The money also paid for new team wear and upgraded the changing rooms at their at Hospital Park ground.
Mary Hogg, vice chair of DGHP's Nithsdale District Management Committee (DMC) said: "The improvements to the changing rooms with the new showers must make such a difference to the club."
Alan Candlish from Crichton FC said: "This grant from DGHP has made such a difference to the club. It allowed to buy new team wear giving the team a new polished look.
"Without this support we certainly would never been able to carry out the badly needed facility upgrade. Thank you DGHP."
The Community Pride Fund was established to recognise the role DGHP plays in the wider community.
