Knight Property Group Creates New HQ For MacArtney UK Ltd

A new Knight Property Group plc building at Dyce on the outskirts of Aberdeen will officially open its doors as the UK headquarters of an underwater technology firm on Friday, April 3.

The building was purpose-built by leading commercial property developer Knight Property Group plc for a 20-year lease to MacArtney UK Ltd which will move from existing premises just around the corner.

MacArtney UK Ltd is a provider of underwater technology products for the offshore market and specialises in the repair and service of slip rings, cable moulding and fibre optic systems.

The extensive building at Howemoss Avenue, Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce includes over 7,000 square feet of office space, more than 12,000 square feet of warehouse space, a workshop of over 9,000 square feet, a mezzanine level more than 2,000 square feet in size and a yard amounting to over 14,500 square feet.

Commenting on the new building, MacArtney UK Ltd managing director David Buchan said: "MacArtney UK Ltd are delighted to have renewed our relationship with the Knight Property Group and are very pleased with the way this project has been handled from start to finish.

"This building represents a significant investment by The MacArtney Group in the future of its UK operations and clearly demonstrates our long term commitment to the UK market. The facility provides us with approximately three times the floor area we had before and allows us to further expand all areas of our business as well as bringing in some new and exciting products and services."
