One of the UK's largest providers of spectacles and contact lenses, Optical Express, has tripled the size of its store at The Centre, Livingston, owned by Land Securities.
The retailer has agreed a lease on a new 3,983 sq ft unit within Elements Square, the new extension which opened in October last year, increasing The Centre’s retail space to almost 1million sq ft.
David Smith, Leasing Director, Land Securities, said: "We are thrilled that Optical Express has agreed a deal on a larger shop unit, offering shoppers an even bigger and better choice."
Land Securities is one of the UK's leading real estate investment trusts with a Scottish portfolio valued at £1bn.
The portfolio comprises four retail parks and four shopping centres including: The Centre and extensive retail warehousing developments in Livingston, Livingston Designer Outlet (joint ownership with Morley), Bon Accord-St Nicholas Centre in Aberdeen (joint ownership with British Land) and Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow (a joint venture with Henderson Global Investors)
