A new housing development is planned for Lower Deeside.
Aberdeen City Council has received an application for outline planning consent for a residential development south of Leggart Terrace and west of Stonehaven Road.
The application, for Edinburgh-based firm Edinmore Group, does not state the number of houses planned for the strip of ground between the Leggart area and the Den of Leggart to the west. However, the Aberdeen Local Plan, which was published in June, identifies it as a site for 50 properties.
The public will be invited to participate in a public consultation exercise about the proposal and consultations will also be undertaken with the local community council, roads engineers and other interested parties.
The application will be considered by the planning committee in due course.
The planning application and supporting material can be viewed at planning reception, 8th floor, St Nicholas House.
