£34m Glasgow Office Building Completed

Construction has been completed at the £34m office building at 141 Bothwell Street, Glasgow.

Designed by Archial Architects, one of the largest architecture practices in Scotland and the UK, and located in the heart of the city's International Financial Services District, the new 10 storey office development provides large floor plates of up to 20,000 sq ft, giving a total of 180,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation and 60 car spaces.

Cameron Walker, Director at Archial Architects, said: "Designed to allow flexibility and sub-division of floor plates, the development was aimed at occupiers requiring 10,000 sq ft upwards, all benefiting from the impressive double height reception area, five high speed passenger lifts and 18 metre column free spans.

"High quality external finishes, including ashlar stonework, polished granite and high performance curtain walling are matched internally by generous ceiling heights, raised access floors, high quality toilet facilities, 60 parking spaces and archive storage and future tenant roof plant areas."

The building was developed by Premier Property Group (PPG), the property arm of Sir David Murray's Murray International Holdings Group. Approximately half of the property has been pre-let to tenants, including law firm McGrigors and HSBC.

The Archial Group Plc employs around 200 staff in Scotland, operating from offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness.
