A new Director of Services to People has been appointed to Clackmannanshire Council.
Grahame Blair heads up the service which covers education, housing, community and social services.
Grahame joins Clackmannanshire from West Lothian Council where he was Head of Social Policy.
A graduate of Edinburgh University, Grahame has been at West Lothian Council since 1996 having previously worked at Lothian and Fife Regional Councils. His focus has always been helping young people, their families and vulnerable adults make the most of their lives.
In his previous role at West Lothian, Grahame had responsibility for children and families, adults, older people, criminal justice, communities and information, housing strategy and development and health.
Grahame said: "I am looking forward to building on Clackmannanshire Council's achievements to date and supporting a very committed team of staff. I also anticipate assisting the elected members in the authority in setting the lead for improving services to Clackmannanshire's people of all ages."
Council leader Janet Cadenhead said: "I am delighted that Grahame is joining Clackmannanshire Council's senior management team. He brings with him a great deal of experience and I'm sure he will make a valuable contribution."
