Construction and Projects partner, Sandra Cassels, from Burness, will be speaking at this week's 'Get set for Glasgow 2014' RICS Scotland QS and Construction conference at the City Halls, Glasgow on 19th February 2009.
Cassels, who is widely acknowledged as being at the forefront of advising clients in the construction and engineering industry, will be joined by Tom Bain, director of operations of Glasgow 2014, Ian Hooper, director of special projects, Culture and Sport Glasgow, Mike Levack, chief executive, Scottish Building Federation, John Duff, chairman RICS Scotland and Steve Inch, director, Development and Regeneration Services.
The speakers will provide an overview of the scope of construction work required to deliver the Games, to identify opportunities for the construction industry, outlining the challenges that large scale projects pose and to explore what the Games will mean for Glasgow after 2014.
