Plans for a new hotel at St Enoch Square have been submitted to Glasgow City Council.
North Ltd and Farrell & Clark want to build a 229-room hotel fashioned from limestone, polished blockwork and colour coated metal.
The development will complement ongoing refurbishment of the St Enoch Centre however it will require the demolition of the building currently home to a Somerfield supermarket.
Any new-build will provide retail space on the ground level and first floor.
