J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has been appointed to the Royal Mail Group Property - Professional Services Call Off Framework.
The two year contract, with an option to extend to a further two years, deals with a variety of services across Scotland, including: acquisitions; disposals; site searches; feasibility studies and ad hoc estates advice.
Niall Gunn, a partner in Shepherd's commercial department in Edinburgh, said: "We're delighted with this appointment, which strengthens and compliments the extension to the Estates Management Term Contract we secured with Royal Mail in October 2008."
J&E Shepherd has since securing the Management Contract to manage their entire Scottish Portfolio in 2004 advised Royal Mail on various key property acquisitions and disposals throughout Scotland. Indeed, in each of the past three years, Royal Mail has presented J&E Shepherd with a coveted Silver Award in recognition of the first class supplier service it has provided to them.
