T-Mobile is the latest retailer to sign up to Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries shopping centre.
T-Mobile, one of the UK’s leading mobile network operators and internet providers, has agreed a 15-year lease on a prime unit which extends to approximately 1,781sq ft.
Hamish Millar, General Manager at Buchanan Galleries, said: "We are delighted to announce that T-Mobile is open and trading within Buchanan Galleries. The letting is further evidence that the centre continues to attract high calibre retailers, offering our customers a wide range of retail outlets."
Culverwell and CBRE London acted as joint agents on behalf of Buchanan Partnership – owners of Buchanan Galleries and a partnership between Land Securities and Henderson Global Investors – with Eric Young & Co representing T Mobile.
Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow is owned by Buchanan Partnership, a joint venture partnership between Land Securities and Henderson Global Investors.
Buchanan Partnership has plans to double the size of Buchanan Galleries, taking the centre to approximately 1.3 million square feet and making it one of the largest in the UK. The extensive proposals include extending the existing shopping centre by 700,000 sq ft – virtually doubling its size, constructing a new multi-storey car park on top of Buchanan Bus Station and improving Buchanan Bus Station to create a transport hub for the city.
