Building and maintenance company Rok has been awarded three new contracts totaling over £11m.
A £7.2m contract has been granted by the Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association to build 77 homes in Portree, on the Isle of Skye. The homes are due for completed in 2010.
A £3.5m swimming pool scheme for the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, in Sutherland, is due to be completed in September next year.
And finally a £700K office unit at Dunoon, in Argyll, from Highlands and Islands Enterprise is due to be finished in spring 2009.
George Fraser, Rok's managing director in Scotland said: "We have managed to keep our employment levels very steady in the north and these awards will further underpin jobs for some time to come. In addition, Scott Alexander is in advanced stages of negotiations for major new contracts in the Central Belt, which we hope to be able to confirm shortly."
