Balfour Kilpatrick Awarded £1.6m Leith Contract

Balfour Kilpatrick has been awarded a £1.6m mechanical installation contract in association with a new office development in Edinburgh.

The Leith Street development in the centre of Edinburgh comprises a new five-storey office block.

Balfour Kilpatrick will be supplying and installing heating and cooling via Fan Coil Units and will start on site for client Sir Robert McAlpine in October 2008. The project is due for completion in October 2009.

The team will be pre-fabricating pipe modules to reduce our own installation time on site as we have done on previous contracts such as Lochrin Square in Edinburgh where we also worked for Sir Robert McAlpine.

RSP is the consultant and Kilmartin Property is the ultimate client.
