An outline planning application has been submitted for a new retail park on the outskirts of Inverness.
The plans by Inverness Estates, a consortium of Tulloch Homes, for a retail park to be built off the A96 next to Inverness Business and Retail Park include 14 large shops, a drive through restaurant and separate plaza.
David Sutherland, Chairman of Tulloch Homes, said there has already been interest from retailers.
"It shows our forward confidence in the area's economic prospects once the current global financial crisis is over," he said.
