William Hill Bets On Success At Almondvale

Bookmaker William Hill has relocated to a more prominent site within Livingston's Almondvale Shopping Centre.

One of the best known names in the UK betting industry, William Hill has taken a 20-year lease (with tenant option to break at year 10) on a 701 sq ft unit at 19 Almondvale South.

Formerly based in a first-floor unit, William Hill's new store is in a prime ground-floor location, and will be one of a network of over 2,000 licensed betting offices operated by William Hill throughout the UK.

Alison Niven, Centre Director for Livingston, said: "William Hill is a well respected operator and its new store is sure to be a big hit with shoppers at the centre."

Culverwell and Montagu Evans acted on behalf of Land Securities - owner of Almondvale Shopping Centre.
